Nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Goodview, Virginia, Charisma Kennels is a small, family-based preservation kennel dedicated to the extraordinary Cirneco dell’Etna.

We are Dr. Kimberly Noel and Dr. Mark Wadstrom, veterinarians with more than 36 years of experience each devoted to animal health and well-being. Our lifelong passion for dogs began with Golden Retrievers, where for more than 30 years we bred, trained, and loved dogs who succeeded in conformation, obedience, field work, agility, therapy, and service.

In 2021, everything changed when an incredible young Cirneco named Mateo (aka Teo) entered our lives. What began as an “empty nest” project quickly became a passion for one of the world’s oldest—and best-kept—canine secrets.
